In-person and online classes are available for all instruments!
We accept students ages 4 and up including adults and students with various skill levels and learning history. Each age-level has specific pieces and approaches suitable to their interest. Average class length is between 30 minutes and up to an hour. We have two Winnipeg locations in the Linden Woods area.
Classes can be scheduled from 3:45pm to 8:00pm Monday through Friday and 8:30am to 4:00pm on Saturday. We are closed on Sunday.
Individuals who are on their way to obtaining ARCT level certification are encouraged to contact our studio. We offer enrichment of lessons and preparation through concerts, master classes and multimedia by our world-renowned concert pianist Jorge Suarez, Doctor of Music.
All of our books and teaching methods have been developed by Rosemarie Peart and Dr. Jorge Suarez. The program is suitable for ages 4 and older. In addition to learning the main instrument our approach integrates repertoire (Classical and popular), technique, sight-reading skills, and theory. The students will play actual pieces from the very first lesson because of the unique teaching methods we have developed over the last 40 years. This is due to the fact that we apply the most advanced pedagogical knowledge in our methods.
Our flexible repertoire offers classes that include pieces from various styles of music. Classical and popular music, jazz, classical exam-oriented pieces and any combination are all options.
Besides the hundreds of wonderful arrangements of the most popular pieces that we offer in our method, we ask our students which music they like and then make it available for them at the their skill level. We write the requested song arrangements in the most effective manner. Our students just love to play all these great pieces written at the level that they are capable of playing.
All of our beginner students learn to play actual pieces they know and enjoy, using their full present potential from the very first lesson. For example, in piano they use both hands at the same time from the very beginning. This means our students develop their coordination and hand dexterity from day one with pieces they love playing.
We believe students should showcase their talent. We hold a very spectacular annual concert at CMU in June in which all of our students perform alongside Dr. Jorge Suarez, who is a world-class Concert Pianist, and all our virtuoso teachers. Dr. Suarez plays the Masterworks of the Great Composers as part of our integral program.
Optionally, we also prepare our students for various competitions, festivals and the Royal Conservatory of Music examinations of any kind, including theory and history. All of our students have striking results on the RCM examinations.

All of our Winnipeg studios are equipped with high-quality acoustic pianos and all necessary accessories to make lessons go smoothly. For example, our voice students have the ability to try performing using professional amplifiers and microphones that will give them the opportunity to hear themselves in a performance type environment.
Our Piano students have the opportunity to perform on a full size YAMAHA Concert Grand Piano to prepare for their Concerts, Festivals and Exams.

We offer the highest possible level of professional teaching, and the most exciting and successful method available in the system.
